CWA members played a pivotal role in passing  HB20-1415 Whistleblower Protections Public Health Emergencies.  The bill makes it unlawful for employers in Colorado to retaliate against workers for raising health and safety issues during a pandemic. Also, it allows employees to wear their own PPE.

Officers say they received pizza from El Paso restaurant with a pig drawn on box

Police in El Paso say they’re disturbed after two officers were given food with a disrespectful picture drawn on it. In a Facebook post Sunday night, an El Paso police officer said he and his partner ordered dinner at The Pizza Joint in downtown El Paso. But the officers said this pizza came with something extra.

Please be advised, that in accordance with our Local Bylaws, the Boilermakers Local Lodge 104, will be closed on July 3, 2020 in observance of the July 4th Holiday.  We will reopen at 8am on Monday July 6, 2020. The Seattle Labor Temple building will also be closed for the day on July 3rd, 2020 so payments cannot be dropped off at the Seattle Location.
COVID-19 cases among El Paso first responders

The city of El Paso has provided data on COVID-19 cases within the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Fire Department. According to the city, 128 members of EPPD have been quarantined and 100 have been tested for COVID-19. Of those tested, 14 tests came back positive. City officials said 25 of those quarantined remain out of work and 97 have returned to work.

Two more options have been added for automatically disabling online forms before or after certain days of the month. The disabled after day/time and disabled before day/time allows an online form to be automatically disabled before and after certain dates. For example set the disabled before day/time to the 10th @ 12am and the disabled after day/time to the 16th @ 5pm.
